Vehicle Identification and Dating

Veteran Car Club Events

How it works

To participate in VCCL events, your vehicle must be officially dated by the Dating Advisory Committee of The Veteran Car Company Limited (or its predecessors) or hold an Events Passport. This process is often referred to as ‘Full Dating’.

Who can apply?

The dating service is exclusively available to current Veteran Car Club members. Your membership must remain active throughout the entire application process – if it lapses, your application will be discontinued.

Applications must be submitted by the vehicle’s legal owner and include a fully completed form, supporting photographs, and the application fee.

Vehicle Inspections

As part of the dating process, your vehicle will be inspected by at least two DAC members or their nominees. Inspections take place at designated sites equipped with four-post lifts or ramps to ensure a safe working environment.

During inspection, the team will photograph your vehicle, take measurements, and may conduct non-destructive tests. You may occasionally be asked to dismantle certain components to facilitate this process.

Identification and Dating Application Form

Veteran Car Events Passport

An Events Passport is required for any car that has not been officially dated and which is to be used on Veteran Car Company Limited’s Events. With the exception of a current Vehicle Identification and Dating Opinion application in active consideration by the Dating Advisory Committee.
